This policy explains what this website stores on your device, and what we measure when you visit. It covers 4klyft.com and help.4klyft.com. The application at app.4klyft.com is covered by the same rules, with one addition noted at the end.
The short version
Measurement here starts anonymous. Before you answer the banner — and if you answer it with "Keep me anonymous" — we store nothing on your device for analytics, and we do not record your IP address. We still count that the visit happened, which pages were opened and where a form was abandoned, because none of that requires knowing who you are.
If you agree, we can additionally recognise a returning visit, which is what lets us tell "forty people came once" from "ten people came four times".
You can change your answer at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser; the banner will ask again.

These are set without consent because the site cannot work without them. Your consent answer is itself recorded — the alternative is asking again on every page, which stores nothing but respects you less.
Analytics
We use PostHog, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. Which of the two modes below applies depends entirely on your answer to the banner.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies from any other party. There are no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, and no third-party fonts — the typefaces are served from this domain specifically so that no request for them goes to anyone else.
What we deliberately do not collect
Anything you type is treated as yours. Before an analytics event leaves your browser it passes through a filter that removes email addresses, telephone numbers, postcodes, bank and card numbers, access tokens, street addresses and free-text fields — and strips query parameters from URLs apart from a short list of campaign tags. The message you write in a contact form is never sent to our analytics; only its length is.
The filter is a safety net rather than a permission slip: we do not ask for this data in the first place.
The application
Signed in at app.4klyft.com, and only if you have agreed, we record a replay of your session so we can see where the interface fails. The recording is a wireframe: every piece of text on screen is masked before it leaves your browser, every form field is masked, and images — which may be delivery photographs or scanned paperwork — are not recorded at all. We can see that a button was clicked and a step was abandoned. We cannot read your customers' names or addresses.
If you decline, no replay is recorded.
Changing your mind
Clear this site's stored data in your browser and the banner will ask again. Declining does not degrade the site: nothing here is gated behind consent.
